met-up with Di! thank you for being so awesome! pre-show line hangs were fantastic. SO MANY DORKY WONDERFUL PEOPLE!! there was one guy taking a TON of videos, but i haven’t searched for them yet to see if he’s put them up. we all sang gotta get back to hogwarts and it was beautiful.
they played top 40 in the venue and everyone was singing, it was the best.
charlene kaye was AMAZING. oh, god, she’s such a badass. i fucking love her. i’m so impressed and i can’t wait to listen to all of her stuff and fall completely and totally in love and then cry every time she doesn’t come here.
alkjshdf STAR.KID. i just… i was so overwhelmed. they’re so fuckin’ talented and adorable and fantastic and energetic. im convinced that lauren lopez is the best winker in the world. so cute. i still don’t have just one favorite starkid. i love ALL the girls, and i love dylan and brian holden and brian rosenthal and obvi joey richter and then joe walker’s all there with his short shorts and voices and ridiculous face and dramatics, I JUST LOVE EVERYONE. they did a sammi/harry mash-up, and it was beautiful. seriously beautiful. probably my favorite of the whole night. dylan and jamie sounded amazing together.
i didn’t take any pictures when the confetti was coming down because i honestly didn’t even think about it, i was too stoked. and there were like a million kadrilion beach balls. it was amazing. i haven’t had that much bullshit-free, unadulterated FUN, in a LONG time. it was so good. <3
